My motivation for writing blogs and sharing my experiences

People like me are a bridge between the Indian and German culture. Step by step from a small Indian village to a manager in one of the world 's biggest German companies and in Germany. My way was not easy, but I succeeded and you can do it too.

I beleive that everyone can contribute to the society. It must not always be with donating money. The best way to give back to the society is to share your experiences and it cost nothing therefore with this mindset I try to share my experiences with my blogs and request others also to do so.

My name is Neeraj Kumar and I am a multicultural and multilingual professional. I was born in a small village of Patna, Bihar in Northern India. I did my schooling in different states of India due to the transferable job of my father. My Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering studies took place in Maharashtra, India. After my bachelor's degree, I worked in Pune at Swan Industries.

I came to Germany in 2006 and did my Master in Polymer Technology from the University of Applied Science Aalen. Also in 2006 I met my ex-wife, a German girl named Deriya, who since then has stood by my side and who supported me to connect deeply to Germany, its culture and living here.

After my Master study I worked in different companies (e.g. Bosch, BSH Home Appliances, Mann+Hummel and Wiesauplast) and lived in different cities (Aalen, Stuttgart, Giengen, Bayreuth, Wiesau, Ludwigsburg) in Germany and met many great personalities with different cultural backgrounds.

I worked in different fields (purchasing, project management, pre-development, development, application development, quality, production and processing), in India and in Germany which enables me to see the End to End process quickly and also from a cultural point of view.

Me and my family visit India every year therefore we regularly switch our living between the Indian and German culture. We celebrate Hindu and Christian holidays. Because of all that I see myself as a bridge between two cultures with the motto of bringing Germany and India closer together.

Due to my background and experiences in various global companies I understand the Indian and German markets very well. For many years I have been dealing with different cultures of the world and led a group of experienced professionals as a group leader and senior manager. I always believe that even the best tools and talents cannot be successful if they don’t consider the cultural aspect of their colleagues. I have gained valuable experiences in the last 15 years in Germany which I try to give back to society.

Share your experiances with others............ if you dare to do so........
