Very true! But unfortunately that's different in the real world.
I remember, once I told in one of my interview the same, and my interviewer told me that I have to change my mindset. Because in today's world, with big pressure, we have to take maximum output from our employees. And therefore you cannot take care of them.
My reply was: I want to be a leader who takes maximum output from his employees not by using or pressurizing them, but by motivating them. A motivated employee can give me more output than a pressurized one.
I don't understand, why we need to make things more complicated, if it also works without complication.
